Cedar Home Health Receives Patient Satisfaction Award

The Cedars Home Healthcare Program receives a Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction 2016

Cedar Home Health has once again been recognized for being in the top 25% of the Fazzi  National Patient Satisfaction Database.  For the third consecutive year our patients have experienced excellent satisfaction and are definitly  likely to recommend our service to others.  Agencies with this distinction are proven leaders that have excelled at one of the most important measures of quality – patient satisfaction.

The Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction is presented annually to home health organizations subscribed to Fazzi’s Patient Satisfaction Service. Winners demonstrate superior performance in overall patient satisfaction results. These national best practice agencies are proven leaders and have placed in the top 25% of Fazzi’s patient satisfaction national database.  The results are based on a comparative analysis of overall satisfaction.  We are proud to announce that Cedar Home Health is a recipient of this award.

The Home Health Care CAHPS Survey (HHCAHPS®) is part of a family of CAHPS surveys.  They ask patients to report on and rate their experiences with health care.  The HHCAHPS Survey is designed to measure and assess the experiences of people receiving home health care with the following three goals in mind:

  • To produce comparable data on patient satisfaction
  • To create incentives for agencies to improve their quality of care through public reporting of survey results
  • To hold health care providers accountable by informing the public about the providers’ quality of care

Fazzi is approved by CMS for administering surveys in all three modes: mail, phone, and mixed mode.  The comprehensive HHCAHPS service includes real time access to completed surveys, on-demand benchmark reports, timely submission of your results to CMS.  They also offer trainings and exceptional support.  (Fazzi Website)
