On Tuesday November 14th , from 3p-8p The Cedars Home Care Team will be sponsoring a Blood Drive event at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre 125 Scituate Ave Cranston, RI 02921 to help our Rhode Island Neighbors and Friends. Every day, the Rhode Island Blood Center relies on the community to help provide over 200 units of life-saving blood & blood products to Rhode Islanders in need. Traditionally, donating blood means giving one pint of whole blood that can be used to help up to three people. With state of the art technology that is safe and comfortable, you can also give just the component of blood (red cells, platelets, or plasma) that patients need the most based on your specific blood type!
