Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Rhode Island College Nursing Program Pinning as my niece became an RN. Sitting there listening to speakers describing life situations that they all have experienced from delivering babies to holding someone passing and the fulfillment they’ve received in knowing they’ve made a difference made me very proud. Proud not only that my niece had chosen this field but because I have had the pleasure through out my entire life to work with the greatest group of nurses in my industry. Happy Nursing Home Week and Thank you for everything you do every day not only for your patients but their families and your coworkers. I read that some angels don’t have wings but do wear scrubs!
