Coming in 2016: New Luxury Rehab at The Cedars

We are thrilled to announce the start of construction for the anticipated expansion to The Cedars campus: a new, state-of-the-art, nursing and rehabilitation wing featuring 12 private rooms with private baths. This exciting new addition, located at the front of our campus, will offer a neighborhood-style design where patients with complex medical and short-stay rehabilitation needs can receive care in a gracious residential setting, complete with gourmet kitchen and dining, fire-placed living room and private patio.

Over the last few decades, we have seen major changes in our healthcare delivery system. One of those changes is the growth of rehabilitation services delivery within the skilled nursing environment.  This expansion is partly fueled by the increased use of nursing facility services by members of the baby boomer generation who expect to remain independent, self-sufficient and living at home as long as possible.  The new luxury rehabilitation neighborhood at The Cedars will address the demands of these discerning consumers who also expect personalized attention and gracious amenities from any service they use – including skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
