The Cedars Platinum Sponsors of 23rd Annual Providence Haiti Outreach Golf Tournament
30 years ago a group of local RI residents led by Father Francis Guidice, from the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in Providence, went on a mission to Marigot Haiti. My dad Pat Pezzelli was part of this group and came back so impressed by the poverty and equally impressed with the kind, gentle nature of the Haitian people that he immediately started fundraising to build an orphanage that would care, feed and educate 50 children.
Unfortunately he was never able to see this dream come to fruition but with the help of his family, friends and colleagues the orphanage was built and today, 25 years after the doors opened, St. Dominique School/Pat Pezzelli Memorial is thriving, educating and feeding 500 children this year! We have been told that our school is one of the best in Haiti. With that said we continue to improve the quality of education and environment every day.

Providence Haiti Outreach is pleased to present The 23rd Annual Pat Pezzelli Memorial Golf Tournament Monday, September 18th at the Kirkbrae Country Club. This is the largest, longest running tournament at Kirkbrae! The money raised will feed and educate these 500 children for the year!
On our last mission to Marigot we had a health fair. Our gift of simple vaccines that we take for granted was a very rewarding and life changing experience. The people of Haiti had many illnesses that are treatable. Our team was able to offer their clinical talents to help improve the lives of the residents in Marigot Haiti.
Any gift is not too small
The night before I left I purchased 100 pairs of readers at the dollar store. The people receiving them cried because they would now be able to read and sew!
